Our experience has allowed us to understand and pinpoint the importance of certain design details. A plasterboard ceiling panel must adhere to some fundamental principles to be efficient, high-performing, easy to handle, and simple to install.
-
Optimized Pipe Design: We use an 8x1 mm, 5-layer PE-RT pipe with an EVOH (oxygen) barrier. This pipe holds less liquid volume compared to 10 mm or 12 mm pipes, significantly reducing the false ceiling's weight. It also allows for greater water flow with the same circulator capacity, boosting the panel's performance. Furthermore, the reduced water quantity in the overall circuit enables a quicker return to the desired supply temperature, cutting down on energy consumption.
-
Integrated Pipe in Plasterboard: We're able to use and mill 12.5 mm plasterboard sheets, further decreasing the panel's overall weight by roughly 20% compared to 15 mm sheets. The pipe is inserted directly into the plasterboard sheet, just 4 mm from the visible surface. This provides an excellent inertial response during startup, far superior to pipes embedded in insulation, which are separated from the environment by the entire thickness of the plasterboard sheet.
-
High-Density Insulation: We only use high-density insulation, specifically EPS 200 at 32 KG/m³. Besides offering a better insulation coefficient (lambda), this material prevents breakthrough when tightening screws. This is because its compression resistance is greater than the screw's pulling force, ensuring perfect coplanarity between the panels.
The overall weight of the panel, especially for ceiling installation, is a crucial factor due to safety, the complexity of the support framework, and ease of installation.
These are fundamental elements that only become apparent on-site when handling and installing the panels, allowing for simple, safe, fast, and precise assembly.

The THETIS℗ panel is manufactured in BASE and HYDRA versions, both with high-output circuits at a 50 mm pitch and with a standard 70 mm pitch.

The classic "sandwich" panel. The milled plasterboard with the embedded pipe is structurally reinforced by strong bonding to high-density EPS200 polystyrene, with a 37 μm aluminum sheet interposed.

It's the latest addition to Futuraa's range of radiant ceiling panels. It holds the record for being the absolute lightest panel. With its 6 mm high-density plasterboard, it is specifically designed for situations where the weight of the suspended ceiling must not exceed a certain limit. FLIP's weight is reduced by half.
